PUBLIC ART

Every now and again I create large scale artwork for the outdoors. This may take many different forms (wall-mounted, ground-anchored, free-standing, sculptural, mural, interactive…etc) but is most often made of timber and has some sort of eco-flavour. This could mean the use of recycled materials, the creation of unique habitats for wildlife or developing positive educational narratives of ecology and the environment around an installation. I often carry out my design work in tandem with a rigorous process of community engagement to help anchor the artwork to an area and foster a sense of community pride and ownership over the work.
