The coastline is somewhere many of us have an affinity for. For me, where I found this driftwood, on a remote and wild stretch of Scottish coast, there a few places in the world I feel more inspired by and none where I have felt so at peace in the moment. This piece represents the unity I felt with the place where I stood, in the very moment I collected the materials for my own cardiogram (in a sense, completing the union between “home” and heart).
