I cut thousands of wood slices to create mosaics like the ones displayed on this site. Though all are unique, I set aside the slices that are special, and use them to create one-off pieces where the focus is shifted from the collective expression of a mosaic to the more inherent beauty of individual pieces. Every now and again, I come across a series of slices that convey a certain meaning or story in their own way.
